ECITB Global hosts inaugural Training Provider Forum for Southeast Asia

The inaugural ECITB Global Training Provider Forum for Southeast Asia was held in Kuala Lumpur on 14 December 2023 and marked a collaborative working milestone.

Bringing together our Licensed Training Providers from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, China, India and Papua New Guinea, the event fostered a vibrant exchange of insights and expertise among the attendees.

The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) provided updates on its international operations and facilitated open discussions that enriched the forum by bringing together diverse perspectives.

Petrotekno and TWM Group both gave powerful presentations into the fabulous work they are both doing in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea respectively to upskill local workers through vocational training. Their contributions added significant depth and value to the event.

ECITB Head of Commercial Tristan Kemp said: “This forum will definitely return as ECITB continues to partner with its training providers to help shape the region’s training landscape.”
